Since it's founding in 1995, The West Virginia Office of Hospitality Education and Training (WV HEAT) has been developing and implementing training programs for West Virginia's hospitality industry and for the state's public schools to fulfill it's mission of creating an efficient and effective hospitality industry workforce for West Virginia.

As a division of the West Virginia Department of Education and with continued support from the Office of the Governor of the State of West Virginia, the West Virginia Legislature, various state agencies, and the hospitality industry, WV HEAT will continue to lead the nation in hospitality workforce development.
