Employment skills and careers are also a focus of Travel West Virginia. WV HEAT makes matching grants available to TWV teachers so they can take their students to visit the sites and attractions they study.

Instructional Content Standards and Objectives for the TWV Program have been developed and are available through the West Virginia Department of Education.

ProStart (PS) is a two-year course of study developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) and administered in West Virginia by the NRAEF and WV HEAT.
